Thankk you - no thank you! Visual Studio Spell Checker

There is nothing more frustrating than recording a course for one hour, and then a week later during editing noticing a spelling mistake. Looks like I found a very handy Visual Studio extension, a spell checker!

Check out Visual Studio Spell Checker :)

Download directly from the link above, or by using Visual Studio. Restart is required.

And type away. The spell checker can be configured.

To read about the configuration options visit the codeplex site, or simply select Spell Check from the Tools tab in you Visual Studio menu.

And as you can see there are a few options available :)

Because nobody remembers the FxCop spellchecking rules for resource strings, or uses a custom rule for spring cleaning string literals http://blogs.msdn.com/b/delay/archive/2011/06/16/speling-misteaks-make-an-aplikation-look-sily-new-delay-fxcop-code-analysis-rule-finds-spelling-errors-in-a-net-assembly-s-string-literals.aspx 

Nice!  Some editors (like PHPStorm) go one step further and spell check your variable names, which might be a little extreme :)
