Prism for NET 45 (and WinRT)
.
Not long before Christmas a first version for Prism on .NET 4.5 was announced. While not an official release, developers are invited to test it and leave some feedback. They expect to have a release soon, maybe even early January. For those eager on using Prism for WinRT applications (Windows Store Apps) they have announced that they are currently working on that, under the project name Kona. You can read more about the Prism plans here.
Obviously Prism will look rather different for Windows Store Apps, and I am quite curious to see how much of the core concepts will survive, and how useful it will remain compared to other similar - but not identical- frameworks.
As for how the Prism phone libraries will fare, they are currently evaluating that so we will have to wait and see :)
Here is a question I asked after my first meeting with a project that used prism:
Stupid Question 53: Composite applications and nesting, when do you have to many Russian dolls?
