2011 so far in food-pictures from the dietitian

The start of 2011 has been very hectic. My husband just started a new job, and with school he is currently doing 200%. I’ve been preoccupied with launching this years advanced nutritional counseling courses at my clinic. This week was the first week, and I believe I didn’t get home until ten in the evening five out of seven days. Managed to squeeze in some workouts, an good food (and healthy- I am a registered dietitian after all) has been on the priority list. Here is a sample of how our 2011 food-start.

Taco-mix is ready! Organic minced meat 10% fat and lot’s of veggies. No cheese.

What I use for my all-organic wholegrain-homemade-bread. Make three once a week, I never buy bread.

Freash out of the oven, served with oliveoil,garlic, basil, chilly and seasalt

This one was at the restaurant Joe Farrelli, me and my husband met up with a good friend of ours

Vegetarian Chilly-sin-carne, I love beans!

That lovely homemade bread of mine served with avocado and greens

Salmon marinated in lime and crushed walnuts, served with wholegrain eggnoodles on a bead of greens

Organic steak served with sweetpotatoes, broccoli and Dijon mustard
