So yesterday I put up the Christmas decorations. Daniels dad came in the evening with a Christmas tree that was donated to us from some really wonderful people, Pia and Anders. We had announced early that we where searching for a plastic-tree, the ones at the stores where expensive and not to our taste. I bought some decorations from a second hand store, finding some real treasures dating back quite a few years. The rest we collected at various stores. I love the antique Christmas feeling, with a modern twist. I wanted our apartment to feel like walking in to a Christmas fairytale, just as magical as when we were kids. Our Christmas tree has snow on it, and our windows are covered in ‘snow’ and the apartment flows in candle lights, and smells like cinnamon and vanilla.It is also getting colder outside, and we are crossing our fingers hoping for some snow this year. There are still a few more decorations I want to put up, but I need to find them first, when I do ill add some more pictures on my blog.
